Open the package
Take the Back2Sleep kit out of the package, check that all components are included, and read the instructions.
Rinse the stent
Rinse the stent thoroughly under warm water before each use, then pat it dry with a clean cloth.
Apply the lubricant
Wash your hands, then apply a small amount of lubricant to the first 5 centimeters of the stent to make insertion easier.
Insert correctly
Stand in front of a mirror and gently insert the stent into your nose, making sure the metal clip is centered and horizontal.
Sleep comfortably
Once the stent is properly in place, you can sleep normally. In the morning, gently remove it and clean it for the next use.

The right fit
The tip should extend 1–1.5 cm past the soft palate, just below the uvula. When the length is right, the tube sits comfortably and works as intended.

If it feels too short
Significant discomfort, the uvula sticks to the tube, the tongue pushes it out (base-of-tongue obstruction) and mucus blocks it often — so it’s ineffective. Choose a larger size.

Marked nausea and epiglottis discomfort. Choose a shorter size.
